Pets at Home recently implemented big changes throughout its estate to increase its green credentials. They implemented new innovative, environmentally friendly and sustainable business practices, from the types of light bulbs used in their stores, to the types of bags they offer to customers.
To help Pets at Home inform its colleagues across the group, from support office, distribution centres and stores, on its new initiatives, results, and how people could get involved.
So we designed newspapers to share the good news.
The newspapers were bundled and wrapped with seeded paper so each store could plant wild flowers in their area to boost the local ecology.
100% Recycled Paper
Needing a solution that could be accessed by all colleagues, in a format that would be engaging and easily digested, we created a quarterly newspaper, printed on 100% recycled paper.
We designed the content in a fun, illustrative style incorporating infographics where needed to keep it a ‘light’ read, and to ensure stories could be digested easily and quickly.
In the first edition we designed a pull out infographic as a handy poster, so each store’s colleagues could be kept up-to-date with the environmental initiatives being rolled out.
Our client was delighted with the outcome and we’re currently working on issue three.
